How do I receive approval to bid online?
Harry Davis and Company actively reviews all auction registrants.
Approval to bid is based on previous Harry Davis and Company Auction participation, purchase history and prompt payment, as well as positive and negative feedback. Where a bidder does not meet the approval criteria, a deposit via check or wire transfer ($2,500 unless otherwise noted) will be required for approval. The deposit is refundable or may be applied to the balance of purchases after the sale. The deposit must be received prior to the start of the auction.

How do I submit my deposit via wire transfer?
Is a deposit required to bid?
If this is your first time bidding online with Harry Davis & Company, you may be required to submit a deposit to receive bidding approval.
If you are bidding in person, a deposit is not required, but you should bring a check or money order with you for use in payments or bank transfer details. We do not accept credit or debit cards for payment. We do accept cash, checks, and bank wire transfers.
Can I do my own rigging?
All rigging must be performed by our approved rigger for each sale.
There may be exceptions granted for small items in some cases, but it is always best to consider all posted rigging fees when bidding.
What forms of payment are acceptable?
We accept payment via cash, check or wire transfer. Details are available in your auction catalog or by request.
